Tomás is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. He enjoys caring for his patients and provides the full spectrum of family medicine, including preventive care and treatment of chronic illnesses. His areas of interest are asthma, COPD, diabetes, and men’s health. With his fluency in English and in Spanish, Tomás can accommodate a diverse patient population.
He stayed close to his Phoenix-area home for school, attending Arizona State University where he earned a BS degree in Psychology. He earned a Medical Degree from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in Tucson. After medical school, Tomás completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, he continued at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a Faculty Ambulatory Physician. Tomás is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family, Community, and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, and continues to mentor medical students.
Tomás was born in Sonora, Mexico and moved to Phoenix as a child with his family. He was raised in Central Phoenix.
