Rosell Jenkins, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Jenkins is the founder of MW Solutions, PC, and the author of Cultivating Joy: Sheltering Within During Life’s Storms. She is a concierge psychologist/coach, trainer, speaker, and consultant, guiding individuals and organizations to optimal decision-making and peak performance when encountering emotional difficulties, obstacles, and life challenges. She is passionate about broadening people’s view of what their life can be and connecting them with their ability to change their lives for the better.

In her training and seminars for organizations, groups, and corporations, she provides tools and strategies to optimize health, maximize talents, and interact with others harmoniously. As a self-described joyful living architect, her trainings and seminars help individuals identify the behavioral changes necessary to intentionally cultivate joy in their lives while functioning effectively in their personal and professional environments.

Dr. Jenkins earned her Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. She completed her clinical internship at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, California, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Jenkins is past president of the Houston Psychological Association and a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Her colleagues describe her as enlightened, insightful, peaceful, fun-loving, and direct. Dr. Jenkins’ dedication to living love and maintaining joy is fierce and unwavering. She lives by the message that she imparts to others: life is meant to be joyful. She enjoys traveling, good food, and outdoor activities, and derives great happiness from spending time with her family, friends, and dog.
