Nakesta Richardson, LPN

Born and raised in Detroit, Nakesta has always been a nurturer and provider. She’s wanted to be a nurse for as long as she can remember, and has a passion for seeing people get and stay healthy. Nakesta enjoys helping patients find ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle so they can sustain a long life. She earned an Associate’s degree, is certified in CPR and Phlebotomy, and has experience working with patients with special needs, as well as patients who need tracheostomy care and wound care and assessment.

In her free time she enjoys baking cakes, spending time with her family, and doing nails.

What makes me unique:
I am unique in that I am willing to go the extra mile to help. I believe in myself no matter what anybody else has to say. I am also unique because I truly love my job and my life.

Why do I practice healthcare:
I practice healthcare because it has always been my dream to be a nurse. I also practice for the opportunity to help the patients I see. I love making a difference in my family’s lives.
