Clinical Psychologist

Matthew enjoys being able to work with a wide variety of people, and partnering with them to help them achieve their goals. Ultimately, building relationships with others is what he loves about healthcare.  

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, and his Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. Matthew completed his residency at Duke University and his postdoctoral fellowship at VA North Texas Healthcare System. He employs multiple modalities in his practice, including multicultural counseling, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, humanistic therapy, mindfulness/meditation, and LGBT-affirming therapy.

Originally from Houston, Matthew enjoys spending his free time with friends and family. He has a variety of hobbies including weightlifting, volleyball, yoga, music production, and playing the piano.
