As an orthopedic manual therapist, Jenna combines hands-on techniques with pain science education, functional strengthening, and evidence-based practice to create individualized programs to help patients meet their goals. Her areas of expertise include return to sport training, injury prevention, and movement re-education for extremity and spine disorders.
Jenna earned a BS in Physiological Sciences from UCLA, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU. Her genuine love of sports—and personal experience with musculoskeletal injuries—led her to become a Student Athletic Trainer for UCLA athletics, and inspired her career as a Physical Therapist. She is a licensed PT with an ongoing commitment to continuing education, including completion of the Australian Maitland Yearlong Manual Therapy Course in 2015. Jenna is certified in Functional Movement Systems and Selective Functional Movement Assessment, as well as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, and she has volunteered as a clinical instructor to UCSF/SFSU DPT students.
Outside of the clinic, Jenna spends most of her free time chasing her young daughter around San Francisco with her husband. You’ll find her skiing at Squaw Valley on as many weekends as possible in the winter. Jenna also enjoys cycling, hiking, reading, and cooking.
