Isela Baron, LMFT

Isela is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations. She has a desire to be of service and help individuals and couples feel genuine happiness. Seeing people obtain insight and awareness into their behaviors and achieve their goals drives her passion to continue helping others.

Her experience helps her tailor treatment to each individual using various therapeutic approaches. Isela’s approach is non-judgmental, collaborative, warm, and empathetic, and her specialties include treating adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Areas of treatment consist of adjustment difficulties, depression, anxiety, relationship distress (whether romantic or familial), stress, adolescent issues, and many more.

Originally from the San Fernando Valley, Isela now lives in East LA, and spends her free time reading, spending time with her children and family, and playing with her three dogs.

What makes me unique:
My ability to persevere through hardships. I was a teen parent and worked hard to not become another statistic. Also, my uncanny ability to be a total goofball at any given moment.

Why do I practice healthcare:
I believe that much of our wellbeing comes from the mind/body connection. Working in healthcare gives me the ability to focus on that dual approach in order to help my clients achieve their desired goals and live a fulfilling life.
