Dhannia Torres-Rincon, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dhannia enjoys being able to work with other disciplines to help create treatment plans that consider the whole person—a biopsychosocial approach.

With a dual background in both Mexico City and Phoenix, Arizona, Dhannia earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University. She did her residency at the Salt Lake City VA, and a Chronic Pain Fellowship at the Phoenix VA. Dhannia holds a Primary Care Mental Health Integration VA certification and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapies.

Outside of work, she enjoys long distance running, trekking and hiking, and camping. I enjoy reading science fiction books and watch reruns of The Office regularly.
