Dierdre values working in healthcare because of the opportunities to participate in community activities such as educational seminars surrounding health and Health Fairs. She feels that this grass roots approach is a very effective way to literally meet people where they are, and give them a chance to ask questions and discuss health topics in a relaxed environment. Dierdre values the bond formed between providers and patients, educating patients on prevention, and collaborating as a member of their team. It’s a privilege to understand someone’s health goals and help them reach them.
Born in Alabama and raised in Michigan, Deirdre is ABFM-certified, as well as certified in the Medication Assisted Treatment of Addiction, and Nexplanon Insertion/Removal. Away from work, she enjoys traveling, swimming, watching movies, cooking for family and friends, and singing.
