Danna Chung, MD is Physician Lead for the @Northeast virtual team at Crossover. She is board certified in internal medicine, allergy/immunology, and integrative/holistic medicine. She joined Crossover Health in May 2019, with prior experience working for a number of telemedicine companies, including Sherpaa where she helped develop their virtual service over the past 6 years. She also has a Clinical Assistant Professor appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Departments of Clinical Immunology and Preventive Medicine. At Mount Sinai, she served on the clinical team for the 9/11 World Trade Center Monitoring and Treatment Program where she evaluated and treated first responders.
Dr Chung is a graduate of Stanford University where she majored in Human Biology with a focus on health care ethics and policy. She worked at the US Department of Health and Human Services where she was nominated to serve on former Vice President Al Gore’s National Performance Review Panel. She was named as a 21st Century Scholar and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she was a clinical teaching fellow at Harvard Medical School. She completed her allergy and immunology fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She has co-authored numerous publications, particularly in the area of allergies and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and serves as the Co-Chair of the annual East-West Integrative Medicine Symposium for Allergies and Wellness.
