Christa loves connecting with patients and working with them to put together the puzzle pieces of their health history, lifestyle habits, symptoms, and health data to form a full picture of their health. Once they see the pieces come together, they can envision their best life, and make informed and empowered decisions that get them there. She has a special interest in mental health and changing the stigma associated with mental health concerns.
Originally from Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Christa earned her BS in Nursing from Indiana University Southeast, and her Master’s in Nursing from Indiana State University. She holds her Family Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP.
In her free time, she enjoys any opportunity to explore her creative side. She loves painting, leatherworking, stained glass art, and building anything—from Legos with her kids to sandboxes or anything else they can imagine. She also loves many genres of music, but especially the oldies and classic rock. She owns a 1958 Chevy Biscayne that she built with her father when she was a teenager, and she still enjoys checking out the old car shows and rod runs whenever she can.
