Mental Health Therapist

Catherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) who has worked extensively with individuals and families experiencing anxiety and/or depression, post trauma stress, grief and loss, difficult life/work transitions, and relational and emotional difficulties. Catherine has a collaborative approach, relies on evidence-informed treatments, and helps her clients discover and utilize existing strengths to overcome difficulties, increase social and emotional wellbeing, and find greater life satisfaction. She enjoys meeting people, learning about and from them, and helping them with her therapeutic training.

Catherine earned a BS in Business Management from SUNY@Stony Brook, and her MA in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She utilizes multiple modalities in her work including Trauma-Informed Therapy, CBT, Positive CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She participates in continuing education in Neuroscience-informed treatments.

Catherine grew up in the midwest but made it to Texas as fast as she could. Away from work, she enjoys keeping active by walking, hiking, and practicing kenpo karate—she’s a blue belt! She also continues her professional development, spends quality time with her husband and three teenage daughters and friends, and enjoys cheering her youngest daughter on at her volleyball and basketball games.
