Born in West Covina, Cassandra has lived in California for most of her life. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to work in a field that allowed her to help people. Cassandra is the first in her family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, and she was recently accepted into a masters program. She plans to continue working in healthcare, as this career path allows her to pursue her passion for helping her community. When she’s away from work and school, she spends her downtime listening to podcasts and creating decoration crafts for parties.

What makes me unique:
I am a person to whom people go for help. I am driven to meet goals that I set for myself. I am patient as I work to achieve my goals, thinking of one day at a time. I always lead with my best effort at work, in life, and at school.
Why do I work in healthcare:
I want to help people. I want to be a positive influence in people’s lives. Having a career in healthcare gives me the opportunity to work with—and help—a diverse population.
