Alia believes in educating her patients about wellness so that they can take control of their own health journey. She approaches each person with a spirit of wanting to work together to create a plan that feels sustainable for the long term.
Alia graduated from UCSD with a BS in Physiology/Neuroscience, and then from USC with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy; after graduation, she completed an orthopedic residency at Glendale Adventist Therapy & Wellness Center. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) and holds a certification as an ergonomic assessment specialist (CEAS). Following her residency, Alia worked as the physical therapist for the Dancing With the Stars Live Tour. When she was not on tour, she worked in San Mateo at a clinic specializing in chronic pain and spent time working at Hilo Medical Center on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Alia is a Bay Area native, and is thankful to be back home with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, jogging, doing yoga, traveling, cooking (mostly eating!), and watching Bay Area sports.
